Upcoming: a Free Virtual Event

Hi everybody. I have been woefully remiss in posting this month as I prepare for two invited talks I will be giving in March. Today I wanted to share that first talk is coming up next week, and it’s virtual – and free! – so anyone can attend. it’s via Zoom) on March 5th at 7pm, for the MIddlesex County Historical Society. The talk, “Early Women Artisan Photographers from Middletown and Beyond,” focuses on women photographers 1850-1930 from Connecticut, with a particular emphasis on early women artisan photographers from Middletown, CT, women like Emily Appelquest who ran the Appelquest studio for a few years in the early 20th century.
